The Audi A5 is one of the most beautiful Audi ever made, now Audi has just unveiled the cabriolet versions of the Audi A5 and a V8 powered S5 sibling. The world premiere will have to wait until the Geneva Motor Show held in March 2009. Audi has chosen fabric top rather than metal hard top, it is because soft top is lighter. Further more Audi also uses bulk of aluminum fender to save weight.

The A5 Cabriolet will be available with various engines starting from a 1.8 TFSI with 118 kW (160 hp) , a 2.0 TFSI inline-4, a 3.2 FSI V6, power outputs ranging from 132 kW (180 hp) to 195 kW (265 hp) Wheres the S5 Cabriolet is powered by 3.0 TFSI turbocharged V6 which produced 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm (324.53 lb-ft) of torque. The S5 Cabriolet is catapulted in 5.6 seconds from zero to 100 km/h.
