Toyota iQ: Small And Safe

You may wonder small cars can’t really give enough safety for the passenger while cruising, but Toyota’s small car the iQ had proven to be safe for the passenger as the normal saloon. This is achieve by the iQ’s Robust multi-load path body structure which disperses impact forces away from the passenger cell.  The car is intended to meet the maximum five-star standard for adult occupant protection in Euro NCAP crash testing and a three-star rating for pedestrian protection.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder Unveil at LA Motor Show

The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder finally unveil to the world at the LA Motor Show.  It is the convertible version of the Gallardo LP560-4 Coupe.  The front bumper styling has a bit of the Reventon DNA which looks good, and the rear make a more expose defuser under the rear bumper.  The front and rear lamp are different from the previous Gallardo especially the tailamp are from the Reventon’s 3 spoke LED.  And most important the new folding top runs via a hydraulic pump as well as electric motor that can close and raise the top in around 20 seconds.  LP560-4 Spyder features same with the LP560-4 Coupe new 5.2L V10 producing 552 bhp and 398 lb-ft torque, and the suspension and e-gear transmission upgrades carry over as well. With the reduced weight and added power to all 4 wheels, the Spyder now reaches 100 km/h in four seconds flat and tops out at a touch over 200 mph.  Click to view details and gallery.

Honda Introduce Ecological Drive Assist System To The 2010 Honda Insight Hybrid In 2009

According to Honda, the 2010 Honda Insight is to Introduce Ecological Drive Assist System in Spring 2009.  The system is to teach driver to drive the most fuel economical way.  The Insight will rival with Toyota’s new Prius in the future. Both hybrid vehicle had made a futuristic interior which we can see. But the Insight exterior is more sportier than the Prius. Well done Honda. The Honda Insight will sure make a global hit when it will be on sale spring 2009 in North America.

Lexus RX450h World Premiere at LA Auto Show and UK Pricing

The Lexus RX is also know as Toyota Harrier is some country but with less luxury items in it, but still luxury. Now the 3rd generation is on its way to hit the road in 2009 where is nearest rival the Nissan Murano has came out the new version. Lexus will take its advanced hybrid power technology to a higher level in 2009 with the launch of the new RX 450h. The luxury all-wheel drive model made its world debut today at the Los Angeles Auto Show, ahead of going on sale in Europe next summer.

RTEV and Shuanghuan Automobile to Produce and Market Electric Cars Internationally

RTEV (Ruff & Tuff Electric Vehicles) and Shuanghuan Automobile Company announced today that they have formed a partnership to produce and market affordable all-electric cars for sale around the world. The first automobile will be a two-seat compact car that will be launched in the United States in May 2009. It will be marketed exclusively by RTEV under the Wheego Whip name in North America and by Shuanghuan Automobile as the Electric Noble (E-Noble) in the rest of the world.

Malaysia: Automatic Price Mechanism (APM) to Determine Petrol and Diesel Price

The Automatic Price Mechanism (APM) will determine the selling price for petrol and diesel. Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Kong Cho Ha said the price trend for crude oil and petroleum product is monitored on a daily basis using the APM method.

Singapore Reduces Petrol and Diesel Price

SINGAPORE: In Singapore, pump prices are down again. Petrol stations across the island have lowered prices by five Singapore cents per litre for petrol and six cents per litre for diesel.

Premium 95 grade now stands at S$1.636 a litre, while the price of diesel is reduced to S$1.373.

Malaysia: Petrol and Diesel Price Lowered

KUALA LUMPUR: Petrol and diesel are 15 sen cheaper today following the government’s decision to lower fuel prices in line with the downward trend of global oil prices.

The pump price of RON97 petrol is now RM2 a litre while that of RON92 petrol and diesel is RM1.90 a litre.
